Ilani counts out some chips and holds them in his hand, staring at them closely for a while. He then places them behind his stack before raising to 41,500.

De Sliva throws his hand away and Ilani tosses his cards face up towards him, revealing   .

From early position, Kane Kalas opens with a raise to 9,000. Raul Mestre calls on the button and after a fold from the small blind, the big blind moves all in for 71,500. Kalas then moves all in over the top for 156,000.

Mestre has Kalas covered, but takes some time before he slides in two stacks of 5,000 chips for the call.

Mestre has the best of it going to the flop and improves to a set on the     flop. The turn is the  , but the   falls on the river, giving Mestre quad tens and sending two players to the rail.

On the turn, there was about 100,000 in the middle and the board reads     . Daniel Negreanu checks from the cutoff and Matt Guan checks back on the button. The river is the   and Negreanu checks again. Guan bets 70,000 and Negreanu goes into the tank.

"I'm going to need a moment," said Negreanu as he straightens up in his chair.

Negreanu hems and haw for his decision for about a minute while making some inaudible comments about ace-king and sets. Eventually he pushes the chips forward and Guan tables   . Negreanu mucks his hand and Guan takes the pot.

"I guess you weren't going to fold the turn," said Negreanu after the hand with a laugh.

Tarun Gulati opens the action with a raise to 8,000 from middle position and a player on the button calls. The dealer spreads a flop of     and Gulati down-bets 7,000. His opponent calls and both players watch as the   falls on the turn.

Again Gulati leads out with a bet, this time for 22,000, and again his opponent calls.

The   falls on the river and Gulati bets 20,000. His opponent wastes little time in calling and Gulati rolls over    for a set of eights.

His opponent mucks and Gulati rakes in the pot, pushing himself back over the 200,000 chip mark.

The first player to act checks and Cody does the same, prompting the player on the button to lead at the pot for 14,500. The first player calls and Cody comes over the top with a raise to 52,500 total. The player on the button quickly lets it go, sending the first player into the tank.

Well over two minutes pass before the folds his cards and Cody takes down the pot.

Picking up with the action on a completed board of      , Carlos Difini is engaged in heads up action with Sean Winter. With about 90,000 already in the middle, Difini cuts out a bet of 35,000.

Winter goes into the tank for just about two minutes before flinging out a call. Difini rolls over    for an ace-high, prompting Winter to muck his cards.

Nguyen check-raises to 26,000 and Kramer calls. Both players check the   on the turn.

The river lands the   and Nguyen bets out 20,500, with Kramer quickly calling.

Nguyen mucks and Kramer is forced to show his hand, tabling his    for bottom pair.

Bao Pham opens for 9,000 and there is a three-bet to 25,000 from a player before Alex Goulder moves all in. Pham moves all in as well, as does the remaining player, who has the biggest stack with Pham the smallest stack.

The board runs out       with the river giving Pham a triple up for the main pot and Goulder wins the side pot.

Fedor Holz raises to 9,000 from under the gun plus one and is called by Fatima Moreira de Milo in middle position as well as the player on the big blind.

The flop comes down     and all three players check.

After the   drops on the turn, the big blind checks, prompting Holz to bet 16,000. Moreira de Milo mucks before the big blind calls.

The   completes the board and the big blind check-calls a river bet totaling 37,000 from Holz. Holz then tables    for a pair of queens, which is enough to take down the pot.

Phil Hellmuth raises on the button to 8,000 and Errol Rosen moves all in for his tournament life from the big blind for around 85,000. Hellmuth snap calls and the hands are turned up.
