Action folds to Dario Sammartino in the cutoff who limps for 16,000. The button and small blind both fold and Sam Stein checks his option from the big blind.

The dealer spreads the     flop and Stein checks to Sammartino. Sammartino bets 18,000 and Stein check-raises to 48,000. Sammartino calls.

The turn brings the   and Stein continues for 67,000. Sammartino calls and both players see the   fall on the river. This time Stein leads out for 112,000 and after a few minutes in the tank, Sammartino folds.

Action folds to Shaun Deeb who raises to 32,000. Paul Volpe calls and Jason Koon three bets to 152,000 from the hijack position. It folds back to Deeb who asks Volpe how much he has. Around 500,000 is the answer.

Deeb four bets to 512,000. Volpe folds and Koon calls all in.

The turn brings the   and the action again goes check-check. The   completes the board and Sammartino checks for a third time. Deeb checks back and tables    which is good enough to take down the pot.

Jason Koon (890,000) is our chip leader; with 25 WSOP cashes, he is seeking his first bracelet. His work is cut out for him as he goes up against bracelet winners Paul Volpe (586,000), Sam Stein (299,000), and two-time bracelet winner and 2012 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Merson (276,000).
