Hand #34: Tonking Pushes Out Sindelar

Billy Pappas had the button.

Will Tonking opened to 900,000 from middle position and Dan Sindelar called next to act as the flop landed    . Tonking led out for 1.35 million and Sindelar made the call as the   landed on the turn.

Tonking went deep into the tank for several minutes before eventually sliding out a stack of chips amount to a bet of 2.3 million with Sindelar releasing fairly swiftly to slid down below 25 million.

Dan Sindelar opened to 900,000 from the cutoff only to have Bruno Politano three-bet the small blind to 2.45 million. Sindelar mucked and Politano scooped the pot.

Andoni Larrabe opened from the cutoff to 800,000 and Martin Jacobson called from the big blind to see a     flop. Jacobson checked and Larrabe led out for 950,000 with Jacobson calling as the dealer dropped the   on the turn.

Felix Stephensen had the button and Dan Sindelar opened to 900,000 from middle position with only Mark Newhouse calling from the big blind.

The flop fell     and Newhouse checked to Sindelar who checked behind. The turn landed the   and both players checked again.

The river landed the   and Newhouse checked to Sindelar who tossed in a bet of 975,000. Newhouse snap-called, but when Sindelar tabled his   , Newhouse mucked his hand and slipped to 24 million as Sindelar climbed to 26 million in chips.
