Hands #28-32: Montizanti Doubles
Hand #28: Haixia Zhang raised to 25,000 and Mikiyo Aoki called from the button. The two players went to a flop of and Zhang checked. Aoki bet out 45,000 and Zhang raised to 120,000, winning the pot when Aoki quickly folded.
Hand #29: Zhang raised to 25,000 again and picked up the blinds and antes.
Hand #30: Zhang raised to 25,000 once again and scooped up the pot preflop.
Hand #31: Aoki raised to 30,000 and Meikat Siu made it 78,000 to win the chips.
Hand #32: Elizabeth Montizanti opened the action by pushing all in. Aoki asked for a count of Montizanti's stack and called when she was told it was 92,000.

Hand #25: Montizanti opened on the button with a raise of 25,000, Haixia Zhang three bet to 60,000 in the big blind, and Monstizanti mucked her hand.
Hand #26: Pat Landis open-shoved on the button, Zhang raised to 300,000 from the small blind, and Aoki folded her big blind.

A classic race was underway for Landis' tournament life and the dealer swept out a flop of . Zhang had flopped a flush and Landis needed a runner-runner combo to survive. The fell on the turn, giving Landis hope as the hit down on the river and a huge roar echoed through the rail.

Hand #6: Patricia Cahill pushed all in and Mikiyo Aoki raised to get the blinds out of the way. The two players went to the flop with Cahill's tournament life at risk.

The flop came down to give Aoki the set. The turn card came down and Cahill needed a ten to stay alive. Her rail started calling for it loudly. The river fell and she spiked the straight to double up and her supporters screamed in excitement.

Hand #8: Elizabeth Montizanti pushed all in from the button and scooped in the pot when the blinds folded.
Hand #9: Persia Bonella raised to 25,000 from middle position and Meikat Siu raised to 60,000 from the cutoff. The play folded back around to Bonella who also gave up her hand, awarding Siu the pot.

Aoki Returns with Huge Lead for Final Table
Nine ladies will return at 1 p.m. to battle it out with cards and chips until one of them is crowned a champion in Event #53: $10,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship. All final-tablists will make at least $11,504, but each of them has their eye on that top prize of $153,470 and the special ladies WSOP bracelet.
Mikiyo Aoki comes into Day 3 as the clear chip leader. Aoki was running over the table on Day 2 and was also the player to knock out the 10th-place finisher, giving her an extra boost to her stack at the end of play. She has a tower of chips numbering 742,000, or just under one third of the total chips in play. The next largest stack at the table has almost 300,000 less — Meikat Siu with 460,000.
