Hank McArdle

18 February, 2019 (Las Vegas, Nev.) – Hank McArdle won Event #3: $600 No-Limit Hold’em at the WSOP Circuit at the Rio Casino and Resort in Las Vegas Monday night. It’s the first career Circuit ring for McArdle, and he earns his biggest ever live cash: $36,978.

“I feel great,” he said after the tournament. “The final table actually went pretty quick. My big break was six-handed. There was a four or five way pot and I flopped a set of sixes. I kept a big stack, and I was just running really good. You gotta get lucky, and I felt like I did.”

While McArdle ended up with the ring and the first-place prize, the top three players all earned career-best results. Melvin Gallien earned $22,856 for his runner-up performance, the best cash of his career. And Ronald Nagasako said this was his first-ever tournament, making his third-place finish ($16,600) all the more impressive.
