The two starting flights are complete for the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino.

 

Sunday's Day 1A flight generated 280 entries, and another 398 joined Monday's Day 1B to bring the total field to 678 across both. With 66 players bagging in Flight A and 79 in Flight B there are 145 survivors for Day 2. 

 

Glen Cressman bagged up a massive stack of 696,000 chips to set the pace after Day 1A, and his lead was not surpassed during Day 1B's session. Andrew Moreno (pictured) finished Day 1B with 504,000, with Cressman holding the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.

Andrew Moreno opens to 7,000 from middle position. Javid Javani re-raises to 18,000 from the cutoff. It folds to the big blind who calls, putting it back on Moreno.

The dealer pulls in the chips. Moreno stops her from dealing the flop, relaying that he still hasn't called the 18,000. She puts Moreno's original bet back in front of him. Moreno does decide to call the three bet.

The flop comes    . All three players check, bringing the   turn card.

The big blind checks. Moreno checks. Javani grabs 25,000 and puts in the middle. The big blind calls. Moreno comes over the top with a check-raise to 82,000. Javani folds.

Action is back on the big blind. He enters the tank and asks how much more it is. Moreno instructs the dealer to pull in the 25,000. She does. "Pull his in too, just to make it fair," Phil Laak joking interjects.

It is 57,000 more to see a river. The big blind tanks for a little longer, then calls.

The   competes the board. The big blind checks. Moreno jams and his opponent calls. Morneo turns over    for the nut flush. The big blind tables   , but his trips are no match.

Morneo moved all in for about 140,000. His opponent has around 110,000. The big blind is eliminated. Moreno is takes down the massive pot and will most likely end Day 1B as chip leader.

Seven-time gold ring winner Vinny Moscati raises to 6,500 from the hijack. He gets one caller, the small blind.

The flop comes    . The small blind checks. Moscati continues with a bet of 5,500. The small blind calls.

Both players check the   turn, bringing the   river.

The small blind leads out with a bet of 10,500. Moscati calls. Both players hold their cards. The small blind has to show first, but instead mucks his cards.

Moscati mucks too as he is awarded the pot.

Sean Yu raises to 7,500 from under the gun. Nich Phoenix three-bets to 21,000 from his direct left. Action folds around to Gal Yifrach in the cutoff, and he moves all in. Yu asks for an exact count. The dealer breaks down Yifrach's stack, and his all-in raise is to 33,700. Yu thinks for a few more moments, then reluctantly folds. Phoenix calls, and the hands are turned up.

The sum will make for an overall prizepool of over $1 million. A complete breakdown of payouts will be posted at the start of Day 2.

Mike Wang opens to 6,000 from middle position. Sitting on his left, Andy Philachack calls. Ryan Lenaghan jams in the lojack, which is directly followed by a shove from Matthew Elsby in the hijack.

Action folds back around to Wang who folds. Philachack gets out of the way. Lenaghan and Elsby showdown. Elsby is the player at risk.

The board runs out      . Lenaghan flopped an open-ended straight draw, but could not hit any outs in the end. Elsby's chip count comes to 38,000. Lenaghan pays the fine and is left with less than 10 big blinds.

Gal Yifrach raises to 4,800 from under the gun. A middle-position player calls, then Kevin Eyster three-bets to 16,500 from the big blind. Both other players call.

The flop rolls out    . Eyster continues for 22,000. Yifrach calls and the other player folds.

The turn is the  . Eyster moves all in. Yifrach asks for an exact count, which turns out to be 64,000. Yifrach has him covered, and after thinking for a minute, he puts out the chips to call.

Darren Rabinowitz opens from early position, a player in middle position three-bets and the button calls. Rabinowitz shoves having both of his opponents covered. 

Middle position folds and the button calls all in for around 80,000 with   . Rabinowitz is in great shape as he turns up   .

The board runs out       and Rabinowitz's aces hold to score the late night knock out.

Javid Javani checks in the small blind. His opponent, in middle position, says "all in." Across the table, Javani hears the announced shove and slides all of his chips in the middle without hesitation.

The middle-position player flips over   . "Nines," Javani asks, then verifies that it is actually pocket tens while casually turns over a flopped straight with   .

The turn is the  , rendering the dimes dead in the water. The inconsequential river is the  .

The dealer begins to break down Javani's chips. Javani and his opponent have comparable stacks, both over 100,000.

After some misinterpretations on the calculations, Javani's final count comes to 108,600. This leaves the middle-position player with just under 7,000 behind and Javani with a massive double up.
