January 28, 2019 (Tunica) - The second day of the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Tunica has now come to an end, and the 639 field has winnowed down to just eight runners. Leading the way into the final day of the tournament is Jim Naifeh (pictured).
Day 3 will begin Monday at noon, with the final eight players battling it out for a shot at the $198,451 first place prize. Each player will be guaranteed at least a cash of $23,389 for their efforts. Steve Klein opens to 90,000 from early position, Kyle Cartwright calls from the button and the dealer fans out on the flop. Klein bets 125,000, Cartwright calls and the peels off on the turn.
Action checks to Cartwright, he bets 260,000 and Klein hits the tank. After a few minutes of thought Klein calls and a falls on the river. Klein counts out a 1,000,000 and pushes it in the middle, Cartwright looks disgusted as he calls the bet.
Klein tables for a full house, Cartwright says,"Why couldn't it just brick off on the river!" as he mucks his cards, sending the pot to Klein.

A falls on the turn, both players check and the hits the felt on the river. Landreth reaches for chips and fires 325,000 into the pot, Naifeh snap-calls and Landreth snap-mucks just as quickly. Naifeh takes down the pot without having to show and extends his chip lead during the final level of the day.
