Schuyler Thronton opens to 7,000 from early position, Jim Crouch three-bets to 17,000, and the big blind moves all in for around 60,000. Thornton calls and Crouch reshoves for 83,900.

Thornton calls with    and needs to hold against Crouch's    and the big blinds's   

The board comes       and Crouch spikes a ten on the flop to knock the big blind out and double through Schuyler.

Shortly after Thornton moves all in from the blinds with ace queen and loses a race against pocket jacks to be sent to the rail.

Jean Gaspard raises from middle position and the player in the hijack moves all in for about 30,000. Gaspard calls and it's off to the races with his    against the hijack's   .

The flop is    , changing nothing, but the   on the turn sealed the hand, giving the hijack a full house and leaving Gaspard drawing dead to the   river.

Gaspard loses the pot, doubles up his opponent, and loses about half of his stack.

WSOP Bracelet winner Mike Cordell is all in for 15,000 from middle position. The hijack moves all in over the top for 31,200 and the rest of the table folds. 

They turn their hands up and Cordell needs to get lucky with    against   .

The flop comes     and Cordell needs an eight or a club to take the lead. The turn brings the   and Cordell does just that. The river is the   and Cordell winds up with an ace high flush to stay alive. 

Ray Qartomy says "you over-killed that man" as Cordell scoops the pot.

Players are back from their final break of the day, which closes registration for the second and final flight of the $1,700 no-limit hold'em main event.

There are 558 entries that came out for Day 1B, which brings the overall field size to 893 entries and a prizepool of $1,525,895. The clock now displays the total number of players remaining from both flights, which currently reads 249 entries, with 60 of those coming from yesterday's flight.

The top 90 spots will finish in the money with a min-cash worth $3,058 and the top spot walking away with $263,815. A complete breakdown of the prizepool will be posted shortly in the 'Prizepool' tab above.

Sean Yu raises to 4,200 out of the small blind and Lytle Allen moves all in for about 20,000 out of the big blind. Yu goes into the tank for a little bit, seeming to do some mental math in the meantime, before calling.

Allen shows    and has Yu's    dominated.

That changed on a flop of    , giving Yu top pair and leaving Allen drawing to three outs. The turn is the  , giving Yu trips, but Allen picked up a flush draw.
