Today is Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Main Event at Harrah's Cherokee. A total of 1,060 entries put more than $1.5 million in the prize pool, and the 182 survivors are set to return today for the run to the final table.
Jason Sandling had a fine showing on Day 1B, turning his 20,000-chip starting stack into 340,000 by night's end. Sandling, who won this event in 2014 is overall leader entering today, followed by EJ Manson (328,500) and Day 1A big stack Andrew Mousmoules (314,500).
Other familiar faces near the top include Josh Arieh (253,000), TK Miles (245,000), Jonathan Hilton (189,000) and five-time ring winner Kurt Jewell (174,000). Daniel Weinman, a past champion of this event, is also through to Day 2 with 110,500 chips.

The eventual champion will take home a first place prize worth $294,152 On top of that, the tournament’s winner earns a gold ring and a berth in the prestigious Global Casino Championship where they’ll compete for a WSOP bracelet.
