Day 1B of the WSOP Circuit Tulsa Main Event is in the books. Today’s flight had 230 runners and Daniel Jones (pictured) bagged the biggest stack (348,000) after 16 levels of play. Jones leads the remaining 38 players from Day 1B, who will join the 13 who already bagged on Day 1A.
WSOP 2003 Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker was one of the 230 to queue up for Day 1B, but he busted shortly after running ace-king into pocket queens. He said he will be in the field again tomorrow, looking for his chance to move on to Day 2. Maurice Hawkins, Blair and Grant Hinkle, Andy Philachack, Mike Cordell, and Allen Kessler also failed to bag for Day 2.
Defending Champion Will Berry failed to qualify on Day 1A, but came back on Day 1B and bagged 145,000. Berry won this event last year and booked his second ring along with $180,806.
Mina Greco (145,000), Orlando Romero (238,000), and Cory Smith (142,000) all bagged as well and will join Berry on Day 2. Greco won a big hand against WSOP bracelet winner Cordell when her pocket sevens made a straight earlier in the day and managed to build from there.

Berry turns over his , playing his four with the kings and sevens on the board, but the big blind is holding for a full house. That earns him the pot and Berry is forced to send over the chips.
Despite losing the pot, Berry has still built up a big stack of over 200,000 which should be useful to him as he tries to defend his title.
