Neil Blumenfield was in the field for Day 1A and is at is again at the start of play today. Blumenfield has eight WSOP cashes, but his most notable score would be his third-place finish at the WSOP Main Event in 2015, which Joe McKeehen eventually won. Blumenfield took home $3,398,298 for his finish.
The second-place finisher in the 2015 Main Event, Joshua Beckley made an appearance yesterday as well and will likely be in the field today.
Blumenfield ran into a bit of trouble yesterday when he got all in against Travis Moss with pocket jacks. Moss turned an ace and doubled through Blumenfield and took a pretty significant bite out of his stack. Blumenfield has a max of two more chances to bag for Day 2, since each player is allowed only one reentry per flight.
