The marquee event of all of the World Series of Poker Circuit stops gets cards in the air on Friday at Choctaw. The $1,675 no-limit hold'em main event gets cards in the air at noon and is historically one of the biggest fields of the season. This year is not expected to be any different.
Last year, Grant Hinkle took it down and defeated 1,451 entries to win $375,427 and the Circuit ring. As with every other main event on the Circuit, the winner also gets a guaranteed seat into the Global Casino Championship. WSOP.com will have live updates and complete coverage of all the action of the event from start to finish.
Action gets underway at noon and here are the details:
- Players start with 20,000 in chips
- Blinds start at 25/50
- Day 1 is scheduled for 15, 40-minute levels
- Registration is open until the start of level 13
- There are 15-minute breaks after levels 3, 6 and 12, a 60-minute dinner break at the end of level 9
- Players are allowed to re-enter once per flight, for a total of four bullets max
- Players that survive the day's action will return on Sunday for Day 2
