Jonathan Hanner - Current Chip Leader of the Choctaw Durant Main Event
Only 11 players remain as the final day of the Choctaw Durant Main Event is set to begin at Noon, and leading the pack is Jonathan Hanner. Hanner was able to bag up just under 3 million chips on Sunday night / Monday morning which was enough to put him just ahead of Walter Rodriguez for the tournament chip lead.
Still in the hunt though are Day 1a and 1b chip leaders, Nick Schwarmann and Dan Lowery. The two were able to back up the third and fourth biggest stacks left and are both looking to turn that into a final table appearance and more. Lowery is especially hoping to improve on his best finish here at Choctaw Durant, as he has come runner up in this very event several years ago. He's definitely in a position to do so as he has amassed a mountain of chips to bring into the final day of play.
Schwarmann on the other hand had a rollercoaster of a day on Sunday. He began as one of the chip leaders, but quickly fell into the middle of the pack. At one point, he had to hit a two outer to survive against Charles Mitchell when they both flopped trip tens, but Mitchell held the better kicker. He was able to turn it around though, and bag one of the biggest stacks left in the tournament. Schwarmann has yet to capture a WSOP circuit ring, but has come close several times, with runner up finishes in both circuit events, and at the World Series of Poker where he came runner up in a bracelet event as well.

With 11 players remaining, following the first elimination, players will redraw for the final table.
