Tony Lay is one of those fighting for a seat in the Global Casino Championship, entering this Main Event just 2.5 points below the current cutoff line. The pro from Oklahoma is so far on the right track toward an in-the-money finish, and he's just removed a player from the field.

The player in question moves all in for 13,100 preflop, and Lay puts him at risk on a coin flip.

There's multi-way action on a     flop with close to 25,000 in the middle already. On that flop, it checks to Donny Deal on the button, who appears to have been the last preflop aggressor. He bets 10,000, Jason Baldrige calls from middle position, and Kevin Eyster check-raises all in for about 40,000 total. Deal spends a long while in the tank before calling, and Baldrige quickly folds out of the way to leave Eyster heads-up for his tournament life.

Eyster needs to make two pair or better to stay alive, drawing at an open-ender, as well. The   turn and   river are blanks, though, and Deal wins the big pot with aces up to move into the overall chip lead. Eyster is eliminated.
