Several familiar faces from yesterday's field have returned to take another shot today. Among them are eight-time ring winner Ari Engel, Kevin Saul, Nick Pupillo, David Jackson, former November Niner Dennis Phillips, and Bracelet winners Kevin Eyster, Eric Baldwin, Craig Varnell, 2013 Main Event winner Ryan Riess, and defending champion of this event, Krzysztof Stybaniewicz.
Also joining today's field are poker author Jim McManus and 2016 WSOP Ladies' Event champion Courtney Kennedy. With late registration available for 12 levels, we are sure to see many more.

Today is Day 1B of the Main Event, the second of two starting flights for this $1,675 no-limit hold'em tournament. Yesterday's Day 1A drew a field of 579 entries, and an even larger turnout is anticipated today.
Here are the vitals for the B flight:
- Players begin with 20,000 chips
- Levels 1-15 are 40 minutes apiece
- Levels 16+ are 60 minutes apiece
- There is a 60-minute dinner break at the end of Level 9
- Late registration and single re-entry are available until the start of Level 13
- Players may forfeit their stack and re-enter at the close of registration
- Day 1B concludes at the end of Level 15
