A handful of tables are also on the second floor in the Sternberg Theather near the feature table for the Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event. Among those seated there are Max Pescatori and Michael Wang. Wang faces a raise to 350 by the player in the small blind and calls from one seat over. On the     flop, his opponent continues for 425 and Wang folds.

The bracelet winner of this summer still has more than double the starting stack though.

The screens now show a total of 506 entries of which 480 remain and this is already the biggest of the three flights of the Oktoberfest. Another 90 minutes of late registration will bump up the field further, though.

Only a few minutes into level two, Stefan Roboch is spotted while leaving his chair and heading out of the tournament area. The screens only show eight players out, but that is surely more and will be updated accordingly once the initial chaos is settled down.

The screens are updated and now show 486 entries, which eclipses the 473-strong field of Day 1B last night. With the registration still open for more than two hours, it is very likely to reach more than 500 entries for the third flight and aim for more than 2,000 in total.

Terry Fan, "Big" Roger Hairabedian and Dara O'Kearney are in today's field and Shola Akindele has also taken a seat on the top floor of the Spielbank Berlin. According to the screens there are eight eliminations within the first level and the field is up to 469, almost eclipsing Day 1B already.

WSOP bracelet winner Simeon Naydenov arrived in Berlin not long ago and his hotel room was not ready yet. He then sat in Starbucks for an hour before realizing there is an early flight for the Oktoberfest. Sure enough the Bulgarian is now in and just over starting stack.
