With 3,975 already in the pot, and the flop reading    , both players in the big blind and under the gun check their options. Matt Marafioti then bets out 1,700 from the hijack which forces the player on the button out. The big blind follows straight after before the under the gun player calls.

The   drops on the turn and Marafioti splashes out 4,300 in chips after his opponent checks. This time he gets the desired result as his opponent mucks his hand.

A player under the gun raises to 700 and Noah Schwartz calls. Vladimir Chiltsov calls from the big blind.

The flop comes     and all three players check. The turn is the   and Chiltsov leads out for 1,100. The next player to act calls and Schwartz calls. The rivers is the   and Chiltsov checks, the player to his left bets 3,500, and Schwartz and Chiltsov call.

There is a long pause while Schwartz and Chiltsov wait for the bettor to open his hand. He seems reluctant to. He realizes that both players are waiting for him to act first, and attempts to muck his hand. His hand slides into Chiltsov's hand and he quickly retrieves it.

Chiltsov looks at his cards, and alerts the dealer that they are not his cards. The dealer calls the floor and explains the situation. The floor asks the player who mucked his hand to tell her the hole cards. She is satisfied that Chiltsov now has his actual hand and then the players continue the showdown after mucking the first players hand.

Schwartz shows    and Chiltsov turns over    and points to the seven, which gives him a pair and the pot.

Alexander Kuzmin recently joined a table in the bronze section of the Brasilia room and within fifteen minutes has already sent a player to the rail.

Kuzmin raises an unknown amount and another player raises all in for just under 12,000.  Kuzmin calls and the hands are turned up.

Kathy Liebert raises to 800 from under the gun plus one and is called by the player on the button and the player in the small blind.

The flop comes down     and the small blind checks before Liebert bets 1,500.

Both her opponents call, then the   drops on the turn. This time the action checks to the player on the button, who tosses out 2,500, which is called by both opponents.

The river brings the   and all three players check.

The small blind tables    for a straight after flopping a set. The button the rolls over    for a straight as well after turning a set. Liebert then exposes her    and is happy to take a third of the pot after also making a straight.

Matt Bates opens with a raise to 800, and Calvin Anderson three-bets to 1,600. Bates calls and they see a     flop. Bates checks, Anderson bets 1,800, and Bates calls. Bates bets 2,700 on the   turn. Anderson gives up, leaving himself with 27 big blinds.

Dan Kelly and an opponent look down at a board of      with about 8,000 already in the middle. Action checks to Kelly on fourth street and he taps the table in reply.

The dealer finishes the board with the   on the river. Kelly's opponent bets 4,000. Kelly thinks for a moment before announcing a raise to 10,000 total. Kelly's opponent calls and shows    for a Broadway straight.

Kelly has that beat, however, with    for a full house of tens full of kings. Kelly's opponent's hand is pulled into the muck and the two-time bracelet winner is back up to starting stack.

The turn is the   and Somerville leads out with a bet of 2,500. His opponent opts to raise to 6,000. Somerville calls.

"Pair of fives," Somerville says.

But they are no good. His opponent turns up    for a pair of jacks that turned into a flush. Somerville mucks without showing his hand.

Somerville still has over 50,000 chips to work with despite taking a hit in the hand.

The   completes the board on the river, and Jarvis leads out for 500. The hijack raises to 3,500, and Jarvis tanks for about two minutes before three-betting to 9,700. His opponent shakes his head, thinks for a minute, then folds    face up.

Jared Hamby opens to 700 in early position, and the player to his direct left calls. The flop is    , and Hamby checks. His opponent makes a continuation bet of 1,200, and Hamby calls. The turn is the  , and Hamby checks again, then calls 3,200. Both players check the   river.

"Sixes," Hamby says.

"Augh!" the opponent cringes, tabling    for fives up and a missed flush draw. Hamby shows    to win the pot with sixes up, moving back over starting stack in the process.

"A bomb on the river would have been profitable for you," Hamby suggests. The two men have been getting along well today, sharing a friendly and talkative table.

"Bomb it?" his opponent asks.

"A normal bet, I'd call," Hamby answers. "But if you bomb it..."

"Bomb it," his opponent nods his head.

The flop falls     and action checks to Ivey. He continues for 1,000 and his opponent calls. The   falls on the turn and the player in the big blind checks for a second time. Ivey casually tosses out 3,000, eliciting a quick fold from his opponent.

Phil Hellmuth and Keith Lehr are heads up on a flop of    . Hellmuth checks over to Lehr who knocks the table in reply. The   falls on the turn and Hellmuth checks again. Lehr bets 1,500.

"Fifteen-hundred," says Hellmuth. "That's a snap-call for me."

Hellmuth calls and the   pairs the board on the river. The fourteen-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner checks again and Lehr checks behind. Hellmuth tables    for trip aces and takes down the pot.

The hijack is eliminated, and Wilson and Klein split the pot.

According to Wilson and Klein, the hijack went all in pre-flop with 1,700. Wilson called and Klein tanked, before making the decision to call. Wilson and Klein then checked the flop, turn and river.

His opponent in the hand is Shawn Buchanan in the cutoff who thinks about his decision for a minute.

"I can only river you if I don't have the best hand," says Buchanan. "I think I have it though," he adds.

Buchanan makes the call before both players table their cards.

Brad Garrett and his Italian friend and table mate, Alfonso Amendola, are involved in a hand on the flop with 3,075 already in the middle and the board showing    . Amendola bets 1,500 and Garrett calls.

"You have ace ten again?" Amendola asks Garrett, who just smiles.

The turn is the   and Amendola checks. Garrett bets 2,400 and Amendola quickly calls. The river is the   and Amendola checks. Garrett stands up, and leans over the table, while he looks intently at the board. He checks as well and says "I missed" as he turns over    for a flopped heart flush draw that didn't get there.

Amendola turns over    and Garrett goes "whoa, whoa, wow, well played, well played" and then pats Amendola on his shoulder and says "beautiful!" Despite the small hit, Garrett is sitting with nearly double his starting stack.
