A player raises under-the-gun and Dennis Phillips calls on the button. The blinds fold and it is heads-up action to the flop, which is    . The raiser checks and Phillips checks behind.

The turn is the   and again both players check in turn. The river is the   and for a third time, both players check. Phillips turns over    and this is enough for his opponent to concede the pot to the former November Niner.

Five players including Adam Friedman take a flop of     in a raised pot. The first player to act checks and the next player bets 2,500. Friedman is next to act and he drops out a call. The cutoff and button both fold, prompting the first player to fold as well.

The action is heads up to the turn where Friedman's opponent drops out a bet of 5,175. Friedman reaches for chips, cuts out enough to call, and sets them down next to the rest of his stack. He thinks for a moment before sliding them forward.

The river is the   and both players quickly check. Friedman's opponent must show his hand first, but he does not table it. After a brief moment he shrugs and tosses it into the muck. Friedman tables    for a flopped pair of fives to take down the pot.

Zo Karim opens with a raise to 700. He finds one caller from the big blind.

    falls on the flop and the big blind checks to Karim who puts in a small bet of 625. The big blind calls.

The turn is the   and the blind blind checks for a second time. Karim bets 1,425. The big blind player puts in a check raise to 3,800 total. Karim takes a second look at his cards, then calls.

The   hits the river and the big blind responds by moving all in. Karim goes into the tank and rethinks the hand. He does a third check of his cards, then pitches them into the muck, giving up the pot to his opponent.

Despite losing that pot, Karim still has a healthy stack of just under 40,000.

On a flop reading     both blinds check their options before Amal Bounahra bets out 550 in chips from the next seat across. Matt Marafioti then re-raises to 1,825 from the hijack as the decision falls back on Bounahra. She calls.

The flop comes down     and Bounahra quickly fires out 3,000 in chips. Marafioti tanks for over a minute before calling the bet before the   drops on the turn.

Bounahra doesn't slow down, immediately betting out 4,025 in chips.

Marafioti again goes into the tank for over a minute. Eventually he reaches for his chips and splashes out a raise to 18,500. The bet has Bounahra covered as she contemplates her next decision.

A few minutes pass before Bounahra reluctantly mucks her hand as Marafioti rakes in the large pot.

Taylor von Kriegenbergh raises from under the gun to 700.  The action folds around to Tanya Kirk on the button and she calls.  The small blind folds and Richard Lee calls in the big blind.

The flop comes    . Lee checks and von Kriegenbergh bets 600. Kirk calls and Lee calls.  The turn brings the  , and all three players check.

The river is the  . Lee leads with a bet of 2,400.  Von Kriegenbergh folds and Kirk considers her options for ten seconds before tossing in chips to call.  Lee turns over    for trip deuces and Kirk mucks.

Lee, who was all in for his tournament life in the first few hours of play, has rebounded nicely to more than double his starting stack.

Alexandre Reard and Daniel Suied are heads-up on a       board. Reard checks to Suied, and Suied bets 5,500 what's around half the pot. Reard check-raises to 14,000. Suied goes in the tank and thinks for around two minutes before he calls. Reard shows    for a straight, and that wins.

A player two seats to Petrov's left is tanking. He asks the dealer how much is in Petrov's stack. The dealer cuts it down to show 7,275. Petrov's opponent calls.

Petrov wins with the higher two pair, saving himself from elimination. His opponent remains in the game with 38,400.

The player in seat one raises to 700 and Christopher Conrad and Thomas Taylor call. The flop comes     and Taylor checks. The one seat bets 1,000, Conrad calls and Taylor raises to 3,200. Seat one four bets by putting a stack of chips in the pot, before it's counted out, Taylor five bets, seat one calls, and the two players are all in.

Taylor flopped a set of twos and when the turn and river comes    the set of twos hold up and are enough to send seat one home.

Nickolas Davies opens to 700 from under the gun and Gregory Beaufait calls on his immediate left. Aaron Mermelstein then three-bets from the button to 2,200 and both players call.

The flop is     and action checks to Mermelstein who bets 2,200. Only Beaufait calls and the turn is the  .

Beaufait leads for 5,600 and Mermelstein calls. The river is the   and Beaufait bets again, this time for 13,100. Without much time passing, Mermelstein drops a pile of orange 5,000 chips in to put Beaufait all in for his last 9,375.

Beaufait takes a moment and then calls to see horrific news. Mermelstein shows    to top the    of Beaufait.

Beaufait silently exits to the rail and Mermelstein ascends to 121,400.

Matt Glantz raises to 700 from early position, the cutoff calls, the button calls and so does the player in the big blind. The big blind checks on the     flop. Glantz bets 1,500, and only the player in the cutoff seat calls.

Glantz barrels again on the   turn, this time 2,500. His opponent calls and we see the exact same scenario on the   river. Glantz shows   , enough to win the hand.

A player under-the-gun raises to 650 and a player in middle position calls. Fernando Brito three-bets to 1,650 and only the under-the-gun player calls.

The flop is     and under-the-gun checks. Brito bets 1,500 and his opponent check-calls. The turn is the   and Brito's opposition checks again. Brito bets 2,000 and he gets check-called. The river is the   and both players check.

"No flush," said the under-the-gun player.

Brito tables   , good for top set and the under-the-gun player shows   , giving him bottom set. The table talks about Brito could have won more chips with a different board run out while Brito stacks his chips.

When we approach table 112 in Pavilion White, once described as "the most boring table in the tournament," we see that Dylan Dubay has 7,800 in chips sitting in the middle in front of him and Mark Hodge has shoved all-in. 

Dubay asks for an exact count and after the dealer counts out all of Hodge's chips it is determined that Hodge's shove is for a total of 33,825. 

Dubay leans back in his chair for over a minute contemplating the decision as he has almost the exact same amount as Hodge has shoved all-in for.

After another 30 seconds or so Dubay folds    face up.  Hodge says, "Wow, nice fold," as he shows   .

Martin Jacobson has had a bit of trouble gaining momentum in the first few levels. After a recent hand, however, he's back on the path to reaching the starting stack.

Jacobson and an opponent are engaged in a hand where the flop reads    . Jacobson checks to his opponent who fires out a bet of 800. Jacobson calls to see the   fall on fourth street. With that, Jacobson reaches for chips and takes the lead on the turn for 2,000. His opponent lets his cards go and the defending champion takes down the pot.

Eddy Sabat limps in early position and two players limp behind before Elliot Smith completes the small blind and Eli Elezra checks the big blind.

The flop falls     and Sabat bets out 500 and is called by just the player on his left as the   falls on the turn.

Sabat checks, his opponent bets 1,500 and Sabat folds.

Some table banter begins between Sabat and his opponent with Sabat being told his opponent flopped a full house with   .

"Show it then." asks Sabat.

His opponent flashes his hand and then quickly tosses them to the muck.

Rudolph Dirubbo opens the action with a raise from middle position to 600. Action folds through to Dan Heimiller in the small blind who moves all in for his last 4,225. Matt Stout gives up the big blind and Dirubbo calls.

Justin Zaki and an opponent look down at a flop of    . Zaki is first to act and he checks over to his opponent who cuts out a bet of 2,200 from the hijack. Zaki calls and the   falls down on fourth street.

Zaki checks again, prompting his opponent to bet 4,600. Zaki goes deep into the tank for approximately a minute and a half before throwing his cards away. With this hit, Zaki's stack has been reduced to about 45,100.

Vasili Firsau opens to 725 in middle position, and the button calls. The player in the small blind squeezes in a reraise to 2,600, and both opponents call.

The flop is     and action is checked to Liu, who bets 1,300. Seymour calls and the remaining players all quickly get out of the way.

The turn is the   and Liu fires again, this time for 2,500. Seymour dwells up for a short while and counts the calling chips out of his stack, but decides discretion is the better part of valor and gives it up, sending the pot to Liu.
