Kim Ng Eliminated in 10th Place ($17,530)

Kim Ng

Patrick Curzio opened to 38,000 from early position and Will Givens raised to 70,000 from right behind. Kim Ng called and action folded back to Curzio. Curzio also called and the flop came    . Curzio and Givens checked and Ng slid out a bet of 170,000. Curzio folded and Givens moved all in. Ng quickly called, but it was bad news.

No Flop in Sight

The action on the unofficial final table got off to a great start with the huge double-up, but now has dried up for the moment.

Patrick Curzio limped from the small blind and then folded to the raise of Will Givens in the big blind. Then in the next hand Givens raised to 40,000 from the small blind after the action was folded to him, and that won him the pot.

Soon after, Angela Prada-Moed raised to 34,000 and Givens called. In the big blind, Kim Ng made a huge three-bet to more than 200,000 chips with shaky hands and one of the stacks even fell over. Both opponents folded.

The other two hands were raise and take it.

Ho With a Big Double To Cross Over a Million

Loren Klein opened to 35,000 for the second straight hand and Duy Ho three-bet for the second straight hand, to 80,000. Action folded back around to Klein who thought for a moment before announcing "all in." Ho snap-called and tabled   . Klein would need some help for his    to eliminate Ho.

The flop came     and the   turn gave Klein a couple of additional outs, but the   river assured a huge double for Ho.

First Hand Brings Huge Double-Up For Sokoloff

Will Givens just arrived and checked in at the secondary table with the lunch in his hand. Paul Sokoloff had moved all in from the button and one seat over, Terik Brown was all in as well. Loren Klein folded the big blind and they were off to a race:

Brown:
Sokoloff:

After the     flop, Brown said to the dealer "give me a queen, come on you can do it." His request was denied, however, as the board completed with the   turn and the   river, and Sokoloff earned the double-up.

Prada-Moed and Klein Lead Final 11 To Start Day 3

Angela Prada-Moed

It is Day 3 of Event#45: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em and 11 players are coming back to fight for a bracelet and a top prize of $306,634.

On Day 2 we saw quick and steady eliminations as the field went from 144 to very near the final table. The overnight chip leader was Angela Prada-Moed and she will start the day with a healthy 961,000.

Loren Klein is close behind Prada-Moed with 804,000 thanks in large part to winning a big flip for the final elimination of Day 2. Ivan Saul (613,000) will sit third in chips and Will Givens bagged up 546,000. Givens has secured his fourth cash of the 2014 WSOP and is just two eliminations from his second final table of the series. He may be able to declare himself a "$1,000 buy-in master" if he can match or beat his fourth-place finish in event #33.

Day 3 will begin at 1:00 p.m. PT and PokerNews' Live Reporting Team will be on hand to bring you all of the action, including hand-for-hand coverage once the official final table of nine is reached.
