Michael Stewart raised under the gun and was called by Ben Scholl on the button and Gary Benson in the big blind. Action checked to Scholl on the     flop, and he put his last 6,000 in. Benson and Stewart called before checking through the   turn and   river.

Luneau Continues Ascent

Frankie O'Dell opened for a raise preflop and was three-bet by Alex Luneau. O'Dell made the call and the dealer fanned a flop of    . O'Dell check-called Luneau's bet. The turn was the   and the action was the same with O'Dell check-calling a bet.

O'Dell then sprang into action on the   river with a bet, but Luneau was having none of it as he put in a raise. O'Dell let his hand go and Luneau scooped the pot to move his stack above the 600,000 mark. O'Dell slips to 200,000.

Calen McNeil just check-called the turn and bet the river as the community cards came      . Mike Hack called, leaving himself just 11,000, but McNeil showed a backdoor flush with      and won the pot.

Chanthabouasy Survives Again

Steve Chanthabouasy can't be knocked out right now.

Greg Raymer raised preflop from the cutoff and was called by Daniel Makowsky on the button and Steve Chanthabouasy in the big blind. Chanthabouasy bet out on the     flop, and Raymer raised. Makowsky called, Chanthabouasy made it three bets, and both of his opponents called. Chanthabouasy put his last 13,000 in on the   turn, and he got called twice again. Raymer and Makowsky then both checked the   river.

Chanthabouasy showed      for top two on the flop. Raymer had      for a weaker two pair, as well as a spade flush draw on the turn, and Makowsky had     . Chanthabouasy scooped the pot to survive.

Chris Tryba was short and he and Greg Raymer exchanged a series of raises preflop that saw Tryba all in and at risk.

Michael Hack opened for a raise and Nicholas Kost three-bet. Everyone folded back to Hack who made the call. The flop came     and the chips started to fly. Hack checked, Kost bet, Hack check-raised, Kost four-bet, and Hack capped it. Kost called.

Puchkov Scoops Big Pot

Daniel Hirleman opened the action for a raise and had three players, Konstantin Puchkov, Alex Luneau, and Michael Hack, in that order, call him. The flop came     and Luneau led out and was raised by Hack. Hirleman folded and Puchkov and Luneau both called.

The turn was the   and Luneau checked to Hack who bet. Puchkov put in a raise and was called by both players.

The river was the   and Luneau and Hack checked to Puchkov who bet. Luneau folded and Hack muttered to himself "couldn't pair the board one time." Puchkov looked at him and said "fold this hand." Hack didn't listen, instead deciding to make the call. He probably wished he hadn't as Puchkov had the nuts with     .

"Set and flush draw," said Hack. "Unbelievable."

After a     flop, Dan Heimiller checked, Ben Scholl bet, and Kal Raichura raised. Heimiller raised, and both opponents called. Heimiller bet the   turn and got called in both spots, and a   hit the river. Heimiller checked, Scholl bet the last of his chips, Raichura folded, and Heimiller called.

Scholl turned over      for a backdoor Broadway straight and collected the pot.

Frankie O'Dell opened for a raise and was called by Michael Hack in position and Anil Gurnaney from the big blind. The flop came     and it was checked to Hack who bet. Both players called. Hack muttered under his breath "couldn't pair the board" and made the crying call.
