Hands 135-139: Do You Limp the Button? All the Cool Kids Are Doing It...

Hand #135: Polychronopoulos received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #136: Cada raised to 140,000 under the gun, Mutke mucked his small blind, and Polychronopoulos three-bet to 260,000, forcing Cada to release.

Hand #137: Polychronopoulos limped in on the button, Carlton mucked his small blind, and Cada checked his option. The flop rolled out    , and both players checked down, as they did on the   turn. When the   hit the board on the river, Cada checked for a third time, and Polychronopoulos bet 425,000 to take it down.

Hand #138: Carlton limped in on the button, Cada completed the small blind, and Mutke checked his option. They checked the     down, seeing the   fall on the turn. Cada led out for 75,000, Mutke called, and Carlton mucked. When the river came  , Cada led out for 120,000, and Mutke looked perplexed, asking Cada something quietly while thinking things through. Scratching his forehead as he pondered, Mutke stared at his stack and appeared to count, before finally tossing in the crying call. Cada opened the    and his top pair was good enough.

Hand #139 Joe Cada raised on the button and Athanasios Polychronopoulos called from the big blind. They both checked to the river of a       board where he bet 175,000. Cada folded.

Hand #133: Athanasios Polychronopoulos raised from the button and Everett Carlton three-bet all in from the small blind. Joe Cada folded his big blind and Polychronopoulos folded as well.

Hand #134: Joe Cada raised to 140,000 from the small blind and Manuel Mutke called from the big blind. Cada continued for 120,000 after the     flop and Mutke called. Both checked the   turn and   river with Mutke showing   , good enough to take down the pot.

Hands 130-132: Mutke Makes it on the Turn

Hand #130: Polychronopoulos raised to 140,000 from the cutoff, taking down the blinds and antes.

Hand #131: Cada raised to 130,000 on the button, and the uncontested pot was pushed to him.

Hand #132: Mutke opened for 120,000 holding the button, Polychronopoulos folded his small blind, and Carlon called to defend his big blind. Both players checked the flop of    , and the turn came  , prompting both players to get their chips in the middle. Mutke's    was good for the Broadway straight, which was a virtual lock against Carlton's    busted bluff. The river failed to deliver a chop, and Mutke doubled to nearly 2 million, while Carlton dropped to less than 1.9 million.

Hands 124-130: Carlton Banks

Hand #124: Polychronopoulos jammed from the small blind, forcing Carlton to an all-in decision, but the experienced WSOP Circuit grinder got out of the way.

Hand #125: Polychronopoulos limped in on the button, Carlton also called from the small blind, but both folded when Cada raised to 200,000 from the big blind.

Hand #126: Carlton raised his button, collecting Cada and Mutke's blinds.

Hand #127: Carlton open-shoved under the gun, and the action folded to Polychronopoulos, who paused for a moment before folding.

Hand #128: Mutke raised his button 120,000, and Carlton called out of the big blind. The flop rolled out    , and Carlton checked, prompting a bet of 100,000 by Mutke. Carton then reraised to 320,000, and that forced Mutke off the hand.

Hand #129: Polychronopoulos limped in on the button, Carlton completed his small blind, and Cada checked his option. The flop fell    , Cada checked, Polychronopoulos bet 80,000, and Carlton called while Cada got out of the way. The turn came  , and after unknown action, Carlton checked the river  . Polychronopoulos then bet 500,000, and after thinking it through for over a minute, Carlton looked him up with   , which was good against Polychronopoulos'    bluff.

Hands 118-123: Cada Getting Involved

Hand #118: Cada put his new chips to use, raising to 140,000 from the small blind, but he was met with resistance in the form of a reraise by Mutke, and Cada's cards were mucked.

Hand #119: Cada won the blinds and antes with a button raise to 130,000.

Hand #120: Cada raised from the cutoff, making it 130,000 to play, and Polychronopoulos flatted from the small blind. The two saw a flop of     and checked it down, bringing the   on the turn. Polychronopoulos led out for 180,000, and that was enough to earn the win.

Hand #121: Carlton won it with an all-in shove for just over 1 million out of the small blind.

Hand #122: Unknown action occurred on this hand.

Hand #123: Cada opened for 120,000 on the button, and Polychronopoulos three-bet to 285,000, forcing Cada to muck his hand.

Hands 112-116: Cada Bing

Joe Cada Has Doubled Up to Move Closer to His Second WSOP Bracelet

Hand #112: Carlton won the blinds and antes with raise to 150,000 from the small blind.

Hand #113: Carlton raised from the button, but folded when Joe Cada reraised all-in for is last 840,000 or so chips.

Hand #114: Polychronopoulos opened to 125,000 from under the gun, Taylor reraised all-in for approximately 1.2 million big blind, and that was enough to force a fold.

Hand #115: Cada opened to 120,000 in the cutoff, stealing the blinds and antes.

Hand #116: Cada opened to 120,000 from under the gun, Taylor shoved all-in for 1.4 million, and Cada made the quick call for his last 1.165 million.

The two were racing in this huge spot, but when the flop fell    , Cada got a big head start. A   on the turn improved Cada's hand, but actually gave Taylor four more outs to the Broadway straight. The   on the river was a brick though, and Taylor shipped most of his chips across the table.

Hands 106-110: Poly Want a Cracker

Hand #106: Taylor raised to 110,000 holding the button, and that was enough to take down the blinds and antes.

Hand #107: Polychronopoulos raised his button to 115,000, stealing the blinds and antes.

Hand #108: Polychronopoulos opened for 100,000 from the cutoff, and Carlton three-bet to 260,000 from the button. Polychronopoulos liked his hand enough for a four-bet to 450,000. Carlton was convinced, and his hand went into the muck.

Hand #109: Continuning to ramp up the aggression, Polychronopoulos opened for 115,000 from under the gun, but folded to Cada's all-in shove of 605,000.

Hand #110: Mutke raised to 100,000 from the button, Taylor called from the small blind, as did Polychronopoulos in the big blind. The flop came     and Taylor checked to Polychronopoulos, who responded with a bet of 175,000. Mutke reraised to 430,000, but folded when Polychronopoulos moved all-in.

Hand #102: Polychronopoulos limped in on the button, Carlton completed his small blind, and Cada checked his option. Hands 95-100: The Century Mark

Hand #95: Cada raised to 100,000 from the cutoff, winning the blinds and antes while rebounding a bit from his stumble last hand.

Hand #96: Polychronopoulos raised to 130,000 in the small blind after the action folded to him. Carlton called from the big blind, and the two saw a flop of     which was checked around. On the   turn, Polychronopoulos fired a bet of 100,000 into the middle, Carlton raised to 225,000, Polychronopoulos called, and the   dropped in on the river. After two more checks, Polychronopoulos revealed his    for top pair best kicker, taking the pot down.

Hand #97: Taylor won the blinds and antes with a preflop raise from the cutoff.

Hand #98: Polychronopoulos opened for 115,000 from the cutoff, and Mutke called to defend his big blind. The flop of     was checked around, and the   hit the board on the turn. Mutke led out for 150,000, Polychronopoulos called, and the   completed the board on the river. Mutke bet 325,000 on fifth street, Polychronopoulos called, and both players revealed their straights. Unfortunately for Mutke, his    was beat by Polychronopoulos'   .

Hands 90-94: A Walk in the Park

Hand #90: Carlton raised to 115,000 from under the gun, and Taylor called from the small blind. The flop came    , and Taylor checked to Carlton, who obliged him with a bet of 90,000. Taylor came along and the turn card was the  , which prompted another check by Taylor. Carlton continued his aggressive line with a bet of 265,000, and Taylor made the call once again, bringing the   on the river. Both players opted to slow down and check, with Taylor revealing the   . Carlton showed the   , however, for a rivered pair of tens, and the pot was shipped his way.

Hand #91-93: Carlton received a walk in the big blind, as did Cada on the next deal, and Mutke on the hand after that.

Hand #94: Cada opened for 100,000 on his button, Mutke called from the small blind, and Taylor defended his big blind. On the flop of    , the action was checked to Cada, who fired away with a bet of 100,000. Mutke sprung his trap with a raise to 300,000, but Cada called to peel off the   on the turn. Manuel checked for a second time, and Cada contemplated for thirty seconds or so before betting again, this time for 300,000.
