The action folded around to the blinds where William Foster open-shoved to put the pressure on Aram Zerounian. The big blind found and made the call for his tournament life, but his ace was dominated. Foster had the barely covering stack, and his had him poised for the knockout.

The dealer had other ideas, though. The flop came to breathe some life into Zerounian, and he filled in his flush on the turn. Foster still had outs to fill up, but the river gave Zerounian the double. When he paid off his debt, Foster was left with just 10,000 lonely chips.

He was all in for 8,000 on the next hand, and Ismael Bojang got heads-up with him after a flop. Bojang's was trailing the of Foster. But the bad run continued for the at-risk player as the on the turn pretty much ended his day. He couldn't find a jack on the river, and he's out in 17th place.

Kennii Nguyen raised to 32,000 from under the gun and Gregg Wilkinson called from the big blind. The flop came down and Wilkinson checked. Nguyen bet 56,000 and Wilkinson called.

The turn was the and Wilkinson led for 98,000. Nguyen put in a raise to 298,000 and Wilkinson folded. Nguyen showed the for the second nuts.

"The second nuts baby!" exclaimed Nguyen to his rail.

Barry Shulman had raised from the cutoff and Adria Balaguer three-bet from the button. Shulman called and the flop came down . Shulman led out for 55,000 and Balaguer folded.

"That's it! Teach those young kids how the old guys do it!" yelled out Kennii Nguyen to Shulman as he was raking in the pot. "You can't bluff a bluffer!" he added.

"Shhh, don't tell 'em," joked back Shulman.

Aram Zerounian raised to 37,000 under the gun, and the table folded around to the button. That's where Gary Burks took his stand, three-bet shoving for 139,000 total. Zerounian didn't want to, but he eventually made the call with a chance at the knockout.

The flop was a disaster for Burks. It came out , and he slid his chair out just a bit and shifted his weight to stand up. The dealer was speedy, though, and he immediately dropped the fourth card, the . Burks didn't even have a chance to stand up, and he quickly relaxed his weight and settled back into his chair. The river was the , and Burks has found his double to get back over 300,000.

Aram Zerounian raised from the cutoff seay to 37,000 and Ismael Bojang reraised to 95,000 from the button. Action folded back to Zerounian and he gave it up, allowing Bojang to win the pot.

From early position, Tai Lam raised all in for 135,000. Kennii Nguyen made the call from the hijack seat and everyone else folded. Nguyen showed the and Lam the . Time to flip, boys.

The flop came down and Nguyen stayed in front. The on the turn paired the board, but gave no help for Lam. The river was the and officially ended Lam's tournament. He finished in 18th place for $19,920.

Nguyen's recent rush has brought him up near 800,000 in chips.

Eric Wasserson opened the button with a raise, and Kennii Nguyen three-bet shoved from the big blind. It was just over 300,000 total, and Wasserson made the call with pocket nines. Nguyen was in bad shape as he turned over .

The first four board cards came , and Nguyen was drawing thin. Two outs was all he had, and two outs was all he needed. The peeled off on the river, and Nguyen let out a loud, "Yeah, baby!" He's found his double, and Wasserson instantly reached for his phone to tweet about the bad beat. He's still got just over 400,000 left.

We only walked up to this pot after the river was out on the board. Patrick Smith had a bet of 125,000 out in front of him behind a Bojang check. There was at least 300,000 in the pot, probably more than 350,000.

After a couple long minutes in the tank, Bojang surrendered, and he's dipped back below a million chips.

Justin McGill and Jean-Paul Delay got it all in before the flop with the latter being the shorter of the two stacks. He was ahead, though, and his had him in good shape for a double. McGill turned up , and things would improve for him in a hurry.

The board ran out , and that's the end of the day for Delay. He's off in 19th place, and we're in the middle of a redraw for the final two tables.

Jason Wheeler opened to 35,000, and Gregory Ronaldson three-bet to 85,000 from the small blind. Wheeler considered for just a few seconds, then flicked the call into the pot.

The flop brought , and Wheeler called another 80,000 from Ronaldson. That brought them to the turn, and Ronaldson loaded another bullet. He made it 180,000, but after some time in the tank, Wheeler moved all in for 275,000 on top, and that sent Ronaldson deep into the tank. Wheeler slid his chips into the middle, then laid his head on the rail to sweat it out. It would be several long minutes before Ronaldson let him off the hook, and the fold has given Wheeler an early chip boost.

The players are still scribbling down info on their bio sheets, but the time has come. The cards are in the air, and we're off and running.
