Tim Finne brought it in with the   and then called after Huu Vinh completed and John Monnette raised. Vinh also came along for the ride, but checked the turn. That opened the door for Monnette to bet, which both Finne and Vinh called. Fifth street saw Monnette lead out with a bet, Finne raise and Vinh get out of the way.

Monnette made the call, check-called a bet on sixth and then check-folded on seventh.

Huu Vinh completed with the   only to have John Monnette raise with the  . The rest of the field got out of the way, Vinh called, and Monnette put out a bet on the turn. Vinh would call that bet, plus on on fifth, before betting on sixth after a check from Monnette. The latter made the call and then led out on seventh, which Vinh paid off.

Vinh: (x-x) /      / (x)
Monnette:     /

Monnette caught two pair on the river as Vinh shot out of his chair to get a good look at his opponent's holdings. He stared for a few moments and then sent his cards to the muck.

Kenney:    /      /

Kenney was behind when the money went in and needed some help, which he found on fifth street when the   gave him two pair. Finne was unable to improve upon his pocket pair of kings and Kenney secured a double.

After John Monnette brought it in, Huu Vinh completed and Bryn Kenney made the call. Monnette came along for the ride and it was three-way action to the turn, which saw Vinh bet out. Kenney opted to get out of the way while Monnette called. Fifth street paired Monnette and he led out, but Vinh presented him with a raise. Monnette made the call and then turned right around and led out on sixth.

This time Vinh called, but he'd soon bet on seventh after Monnette check. "Finally got there?" Monnette asked before folding.

"Got where?" Vinh asked innocently as he raked in the pot.

Huu Vinh

Huu VInh, who final tabled the $1,500 Seven Card Stud event a few days ago, just won a nice pot off the chip leader. It happened after Vinh completed with the   and then called a raise by John Monnette. Vinh proceeded to check-call bets on the next three streets before betting seventh, which inspired Monnette to fold his hand.

Raymond Dehkharghani - 8th place

A series of raises saw Raymond Dehkharghani all in on third and at risk against Tim Finne.

Dehkharghani:    /      /
Finne:    /      /

Dehkharghani's sevens were in the lead when the money went in, but he feel behind when Finne paired his queen on the turn. Neither fifth nor sixth streets were overly exciting, but seventh, which gave Finne two pair, left Dehkharghani in need of the case seven on the river to survive. He squeezed it out and it was four-across and a club, but it turned out to be the useless  . With that, Dehkharghani exited in eighth place for $22,332.

Eugene Katchalov

Eugene Katchalov completed with the   and Dickstein called with the   showing. The latter then called a bet on the turn before taking the lead and betting out on fifth. Katchalov made the call and then bet when Dickstein checked sixth.

Dickstein's full house was good as Katchalov mucked. On the very next hand, Katchalov put 3,000 in for the ante and committed his last 1,000. Fittingly, it was Dickstein who would finish him off and send him to the payout desk in ninth place.
