Triple Crown winner Gavin Griffin had found his stride at the final table, he just raked a big pot and is closing in on the one million mark.

Rasmussen raised to 50,000, Davis three-bet to 75,000 and Griffin called in position. Rasmussen also added the extra chips and the flop brought out . The action got checked to Griffin who bet 25,000. Raymond Davis continues to be very active and his stack is swinging accordingly.

The action folded around to him in the small blind and he put in a raise. Michael "Boonie" Kleist defended his big blind to see a flop where he called another bet.

The turn was and Davis led again. Call. The last card to be seen was and Davis fired one more bullet. Boonie called but mucked upon seeing Davis' for the rivered wheel straight.

Jolly and Rasmussen Chop Tapscott's Money
 

Bryan Jolly limped from the under the gun+2 position and Herbert Tapscott called from the button. Thayer Rasmussen had the option in the big blind and decided to raise making it 50,000 to go. Both players called and the flop showed . Rasmussen bet 25,000, Jolly called and Tapscott raised making it 50,000. Both players called giving us three-way turn action.

On the turn, the , all three players checked. The river was the and Rasmussen lead out for 50,000. Jolly tanked for a bit and called after which Tapscott folded his hand.

Can Kim Hua had made a big leap forward after coming from behind to defeat Bryan Jolly.

Jolly opened from the button and called when Hua three-bet from the big blind. The flop came and Hua check-called Jolly's bet.

The turn was and Hua check-raised his opponent. Jolly called, and also called another bet on the river.

Hua opened for a back-door flush and the nut low.

Griffin Takes One Down
 

Can Kim Hua started off the action with a raise to 50,000 from the under the gun position and he got three callers. Butler, Davis and Griffin all got involved and the flop showed . All four players checked after which the turn brought out the .

On the turn it was Griffin who took the betting lead from the big blind throwing out 50,000. He got called by Davis giving us heads up action on the river. The river was the and both players checked. "Two pair," Griffin announced after which he turned over for eights and fives. Davis wasn't able to beat that hand and Griffin picked up a nice pot at this final table. Thayer Rasmussen is not having the best time of it so far at the final table. Raymond Davis took a pot off him to dent his stack even more.

Davis raised from under the gun and Ashly Butler and Rasmussen called from the blinds. The flop fell and both players called Davis' c-bet.

The turn came and Rasmussen led for 50,000 and was only called by Davis. The river was and both players checked. Rasmussen mucked upon seeing Davis' for trip sixes.

Davis and Butler Active Early On
 

Ashly Butler raised to 50,000 and Raymond Davis decided to make the call. The flop came down and both players checked. The turn was the and Butler bet 50,000. Davis called and the river brought out the . Both players checked and Butler showed to take down the pot.

The next hand Davis won won some back. Thayer Rasmussen raised to 50,000 from the hijack and Davis three-bet him from the cutoff to 75,000. The flop came down and Rasmussen check-called 25,000. The turn was the and Rasmussen check-folded to Davis' 50,000 chip bet.

The very next hand both Butler and Davis got involved again. Butler made it 50,000 from middle position and Davis three-bet him to 75,000 from the hijack. From middle position Michael "Boonie" Kleist raised to 40,000 and Can Kim Hua called from the button as did Self from the big blind. The flop came down and Self lead out for 20,000 after which Kleist raised to 40,000. Hua folded his cards and Self made the call.

Greg Mascio

Greg Mascio was under the gun with just 16,000 chips after he had just three-betted pre flop and folded on the flop. He moved all in and it got to Thayer Rasmussen who raised to 40,000 from the button. Davis gave up his small blind and after a couple of seconds Racener kicked it in from the big.

Greg Mascio showed and laughed as Davis accidentally exposed the when he folded his cards. Rasmussen showed and the flop came down giving both players a pair. The turn was the giving Rasmussen the nut low draw but he didn't need a chop because the hit the river giving him trips. Mascio is out in 11th place and we are redrawing for the final ten players.

Big Turn Around For Hua, Self Hurting
 

Wes Self raised under the gun to 40,000, Can Kim Hua called from the button and Gavin Griffin called from the big blind. The flop came down and both Griffin and Hua called Self's bet. The turn was the and Griffin checked again. Self bet 40,000, Hua raised to 80,000 and Griffin folded. Self put it 120,000 and Hua went all in for 122,000 total. Self made the call for just two extra yellow chips giving us an all-in showdown.

Self showed and he was up against . One player called for a deuce and shortly after the popped up. This gave Hua the nut low as well and since he had a straight for the high he took three quarters of the pot. Self was gutted and stared down at his diminished stack that's in dire need of a double up now.

A few hands later Hua continued his run and he started by raising under the gun to 40,000. It got folded to Tapscott to three-bet from the big blind to 60,000. After Hua called the flop brought out and Tapscott bet, Hua called. The turn was the and this time Hua called the 40,000 chip bet. On the river the hit and Tapscott threw out another 40,000. Hua tanked for a bit and made it 80,000 which got Tapscott thinking. After a solid minute he released and Hua is now back up to 400,000 while Tapscott is still doing great with just under 500,000 chips.

Brian Lives is sure living up to his name. He was crippled in a big pot versus Raymond Davis, but managed to chop the next three pots to stay alive, and then he doubled up.
