Bonnie Overfield folded from the big blind, and the action was back on Chisholm. After thinking for a half-minute, she made the call.
The dealer burned a card and delivered the flop -- . Boesen checked, and Chisholm slid out a bet of 150,000. With a displeased look at how things have been going thus far today, Boesen pushed her cards to the dealer to fold.
That one carries Chisholm up over a million chips, more than twice her nearest competitor.

The flop came an intriguing . Chisholm paused a beat, then bet 40,000. Boesen pushed her chips around a little, then made the call.
The turn was the . This time Chisholm checked, and Boesen checked as well. The river brought the . Chisholm -- a.k.a. "Dr. Kamikaze" -- used both hands to push out a bet of 140,000. Boesen quickly made the call.
Chisholm tabled for a flopped flush, and Boesen mucked. After taking that large pot, Chisholm moves up around 900,000 on that one -- and into the chip lead -- while Boesen slips back to about 440,000.

Bonnie Overfield has a below-average stack, but is not content to sit back and wait.
Just now came a hand in which the table folded to Overfield who open-raised all in from the hijack with her stack of 200,000. All folded, and Overfield picked up the blinds and antes.
On the next hand, the table folded to Sidsel Boesen who raised to 27,000 from middle position, and Overfield, sitting to Boesen's left, reraised to 65,000. The others folded, and the action was back on Boesen.
The Danish player peered out from beneath the brim of her black cap at Overfield, hand over her mouth, as she contemplated what to do. Finally after about a minute, she let it go. Overfield moves up over 240,000 as we head to break.

The flop came and Sengphet checked. Boesen bet 34,000, Sengphet moved all in, and Boesen mucked. Sengphet added 96,000 to her stack, bringing it to around 325,000, while Boesen took a small hit.

The flop came all face cards -- . Overfield checked, and Derosa didn't hesitate to push all in. Overfield had about 230,000 behind, and was covered by Derosa. She thought about it for thirty seconds or so and let it go.
Derosa showed her pocket aces as she scooped the pot. Scary flop there!

Sidsel Boesen once again opened with a raise to 27,000, and it folded to La Sengphet in the cutoff who moved all in for 180,000. The button and both blinds got out, and Boesen didn't take long to get out as well.

Player introductions are currently underway, but before our Tournament Director Robbie Thompson started with those, WSOP Media Director Nolan Dalla took the microphone.
"I have a few words," began Dalla. "There was some controversy this year," he continued, alluding to the entry of a few men in this event, done as a protest of having ladies-only events.
"I want you to know we will always support ladies poker events," said Dalla. "The WSOP will always support the ladies poker championship. The ladies deserve their day. Congratulations to you!"

Vanessa Hellebuyck of France began playing poker in 2006. She's had a great year thus far in 2010, with multiple European Poker Tour final tables in ladies events at Berlin, San Remo, and Monaco.
Hellebuyck is very selective with the tourneys she plays, as she most enjoys spending time with her two daughters.

It has been a good week of poker for Holly Hodge of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, having made not one but two final tables in ladies events. Just a couple of days ago over at the Binions Poker Classic, Hodge finished sixth in that $200 buy-in event (out of 85 entrants).
She's already assured herself a much, much bigger payday by making it to Day 3 of this one. This year is turning about to be a big one for another reason for Hodge -- she's four months pregnant with her first child.

Kami Chisholm -- a.k.a. "Dr. Kamikaze" -- of San Francisco, California has a cashes in limit hold'em and H.O.R.S.E. to her credit. Most recently Chisholm finished second in the 2009 Deep Stack Extravaganza III $500 H.O.R.S.E. event (good for more than $20,000) last summer, and this past January won the $1,000 Six-Handed Limit Hold'em event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (good for more than $10,000).
The "Dr." part of her nickname refers to the fact that Chisholm holds a Ph.D. from the Universit of California Santa Cruz. The "Kamikaze" part is self-explanatory.
