JC Tran

On the first hand of heads-up play, JC Tran (pictured above) raises to 20,000 on the button and Will Givens (pictured below) three-bets to 60,000 out of the big blind.

The flop is     and Givens bets 45,000. Tran calls and the   comes on the turn. Givens checks and Tran bets 120,000. Givens calls and the river is the  .

Givens moves all in for about 415,000 and Tran doesn't waste any time before committing the chips to the pot. Givens motions that Tran made a good call and shows   . Tran tables    and wins the pot with Broadway.

"It was such a good turn card for me," laments Givens after the hand, referencing his turned flush draw.

Givens is eliminated in second place and earns $26,912, while Tran wins his second Circuit ring and $43,500.

JC Tran raises to 14,000 from under the gun and Jasthi Kumar moves all in on the button for about 110,000. The blinds fold and Tran thinks for just a few moments before calling.

Kumar shows    and has Tran's    dominated.

All of that changed on a flop of    , giving Tran the best hand and top two pair. Kumar needs to hit an ace to stay alive and double up, but the   comes on the turn and the   comes on the river. Tran wins the pot with top two pair and Kumar hits the rail in fourth place.
