The second starting day of the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe €10,450 Main Event drew a total of 209 entries to boost the overall attendance to 313 participants across both starting flights. This is, however, not the final number yet, as registration remains open until the first card is dealt on Day 2 when play resumes at 12 p.m. local time at Spielbank Berlin.
After six 90-minute levels, the Day 1B field was whittled down to 127, survivors and Peter Norman bagged up 125,000 chips to claim the lead for the second flight. Artur Koren (107,575), Andrew Leathem (106,225) and Viacheslav Goryachev follow not too far behind, but they are all still trailing Day 1a chip leader Niall Farrell's 157,000.
Other notables that made it through with above-average stacks include Stefan Huber (96,900), Roberto Romanello (91,900), Simon Higgins (79,300), Dimitar Danchev (78,300), Will "the Thrill" Failla (76,400), Kevin MacPhee (73,600), Adrien Allain (73,000), Mark Teltscher (69,300), Brian Rast (67,400), 2014 WSOP-APAC Main Event champion Scott Davies (62,250), Maurice Hawkins (60,000), Shannon Shorr (59,850), Liv Boeree (59,150), Sergio Aido (57,950), Keven Stammen (57,800) and Event #8 bracelet winner Georgios Sotiropoulos (55,550).
The 2015 WSOP POY contenders Ismael Bojang (34,500), Brian Hastings (33,950) and Mike Gorodinsky (21,700) made it through, while Shaun Deeb lost a flip with queens versus against the of Koren to hit the rail. Phil Hellmuth also failed to bag up chips after getting his short stack in the last level of the night with . Stammen and Akin Tuna called and checked down the board and Tuna's sent Hellmuth packing.
Many others didn't make it through either. Anthony Zinno was the first player eliminated after his set of sixes got cracked by for a straight and flush draw. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner and Event #7 champion Barny Boatman was the second player out, and Mike Leah, Mukul Pahuja, Ole Schemion, Max Silver, Mustapha Kanit, Dario Sammartino, Steve Gee, Greg Merson, Ivan Luca, Chris Hunichen, November Niner Joshua Beckley, Dan Smith, Bryn Kenney, Jeff Madsen and Simeon Naydenov were also sent to the rail throughout the day.
With the 57 survivors of Day 1A and 127 hopefuls from today's Day 1B combined for Day 2, at least 184 players will return to the tables for level seven and blinds of 300/600 with a running ante of 75 in the Spielbank Berlin.

Despite losing a big pot at the end of the day, Peter Norman appears to be in the lead with 125,000. Andrew Leathem bagged up 106,225 and Roberto Romanello made a successful comeback at the end of the day to finish with 91,900. Full chip counts will be available as soon as possible.

Christoph Vogelsang was having a quick chat with Timothy Adams on the rail and in no hurry to get back to his table while the action is underway for a few minutes again. That is either a good or bad sign. A few quick questions reveal that Vogelsang has been eliminated. He had turned a straight, but the river brought a bigger straight. Vogelsang moved all in for half the pot size and his opponent called with the superior straight to what was on the board.
