The final day of the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe €3,250 Eight-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha (Event #3) saw eight players returning to the Spielbank Berlin and Mikkel Plum was leading the field. It took three and a half hours to reduce the field to its last two hopefuls, followed by a four and a half hour long endurance challenge between Richard Gryko and 2014 WSOP-APAC High Roller champion Mike Leah. Gryko ultimately emerged victorious to scoop his first WSOP gold bracelet and €126,345 for his efforts while Leah jumped straight into the Mixed Game (Event #5).

Ismael Bojang was the first player to hit the rail. On the board       he flopped a full house with the      only to see Gryko turn over      for a higher full house when the remaining chips went in after the river. About 20 minutes later, Max Pescatori followed in 7th place. The "Italian Pirate" got his short stack in preflop with      and start-of-the-day chip leader Plum looked him up with the      and made trips fives on the      .

The last two hands of level 19 then reduced the field from six to four. Short stack Benjamin Pollak called off his last few big blinds on the     with     . Leah had him dominated with      out of the big blind and even made quads as the board filled up with the   on the turn and the   on the river. Just one hand later, Leah and Lawrence Lazar got into a raising war with the latter at risk holding     . Leah's      improved on the       board and he ran straight up to Day 2 of the Monster Stack where he busted in a coin flip during the break of the Omaha Event.

Only two hands into level 20, Leah knocked out Roberto Romanello after both got their stacks in on a     flop.

Leah:      for a set of jacks
Romanello:      for a pair of nines, a flush draw and open-ended straight dra

Leah improved to a full house on the   turn and the   river avoided another straight flush deja vu from the day before. The 2014 WSOP-APAC High Roller champion also took care of Plum as well to enter heads-up with a 2-1 chip advantage. Plum flopped a straight on the     flop at the end of level 25 and got it in with     . Leah's      turned a higher straight on the   turn and won the hand with an ace-high straight after the   river.

Gryko doubled up after 15 minutes of heads-up when they got their stacks in after a      turn. Gryko's      for two pair kings and nines held up against Leah's      for two pair kings and threes as the   river bricked. From there on it was a grind for both players and Leah never regained the lead anymore. At a 1-5 deficit in level 25, the final showdown took place after a     flop.

Gryko:      for top pair, a gutshot and a flush draw
Leah:      for top two pair

While the   turn was of no help, Gryko improved to a flush with the   river to end the tournament.
