In poker circles the nine-deuce is often referred to as the "Montana Banana" - but for Russell Moncrief those numbers hold a different meaning altogether.
At 92-years young Moncrief holds the distinction of being the oldest player in today's massive Seniors Championship field. He held the honor last year too, and while he's already motored by on his scooter in search of the restroom, Moncrief may just be the man to beat here today.
After all, the only nonagenarian in the room just notched his first career cash back in February - finishing as the runner-up out of 100 entries in the Wynn Classic $550 buy-in Seniors event for a $9,239 score.
To learn more about Moncrief and his love for poker, check out this interview he did last year with the WSOP's resident historian Nolan Dalla.
