Richardson Gets Value from the Number Three
Alan Richardson opens the pot to 12,000 and Calvin Anderson raises to 18,000 from the big with Richardson calling and drawing two to Anderson's one.
Anderson bet Richardson calls and both players draw one with Anderson betting 12,000 and Richardson again calling. Anderson stands pat and Richardson draws one before Anderson checks.
Richardson checks his draw card then announces, "I swear if you had bet I was going to call dark. I guarantee you've got some kind of pair or something."
"Why call dark when you can raise?" asks Anderson before adding, "it's on you ... just bet and I'll probably call!"
Richardson shoots a look at the dealer and asks if that's binding. A few words were uttered between the two without a decision being made and instead Richardson just tosses in the 12,000.
Anderson makes the call, and immediately Richardson reaches over in front of Anderson and fans his cards aggressively - .
Anderson mucks and slips to 130,000 as Richardson climbs to about 100,000.
