Campanello Rivers a Straight to Cross 300,000 Mark
Peter Nigh opens to 5,000 from middle position and Bryan Campanello calls. It folds to WSOP.com qualifier Tracy Doss in the small blind and he calls. Tim Campbell defends his big blind and they're four-handed to the flop.
The board comes and action checks to Campanello in last position. He bets and the blinds quickly fold. It's on the original raiser Nigh and he calls. They're heads-up to the turn.
The dealer lays the and Nigh checks again. Campanello continues to put the pressure on betting 17,700. Nigh cuts out a call and they head to the river.
Fifth street falls the and Nigh checks a third time. Campanello, undeterred, follows through with his story throwing out 32,000. Nigh throws in a single 5,000 chip representing a call and Campanello shows for a rivered straight. Nigh's cards hit the muck.
