The Hunt for 2014’s First Bracelet Begins at Noon ET

The Circuit season finale begins today with Day 1 of the 2014 WSOP National Championship. Up to 200 of the nation’s top performers convene on Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City where they’ll compete for the year’s first bracelet and an up-to $2 million prize pool all in front of the ESPN cameras.

Cards go in the air noon ET and players begin the one-of-a-kind event with 30,000 starting chips at the 50/100 level. Blinds increase every 60 minutes with a 90-minute dinner break occurring after Level 6 (~6:30 pm). Day 1 concludes after Level 10 (~12:30 am) and registration remains open until the start of Day 2.

The elite field is made up of 94 of the Circuit’s best performers matched up against up to 100 of the WSOP’s top talents eligible to buy in to the event for $10,000. Joining the action will be four WSOP.com qualifiers as well the Bally’s Atlantic City freeroll winner and the $1,125 last chance satellite winner.
