A New Champion Will Be Crowned in the Horseshoe Hammond Main Event Today

The final day of the Main Event is here, and what started with a massive field of 1,093 has slowly worked its way down to the final 10 players.

Today, each of those 10 players will look to add their first Main Event title to their names and test their luck in the 2022-23 WSOP Tournament of Champions.

Leading the charge with Klaid Hyso with Keith Thurman sits in a close second. 

Colin Beveridge, and ring winners David Schonback Eddie Blumenthal hold above average stacks while the bottom half have some chipping up to do to make a run at the title. 

Here's how the remaining players stack up:

Day 3 will resume with a local start time of noon. Play will pick up at level 27 where blinds will be 40,000/80,000/80,000.

 

Each level will be 60-minutes long and players will receive a 15-minute break after every two levels.

 

By the end of the day, we will have a new Main Event Champion, who will not only receive a WSOP ring, but the top prize of $282,725.
