Ladies Doing Work
There are two ladies in the field so far, and both Ming Li and Anna Marcie are trending in the right direction early on.
Li (pictured above) was just responsible for the elimination of the player to her direct left, one of the newest entries in the field. She was dealt pocket sevens against his queen-nine, and the flop was . The chips went in after the turn brought another nine, and Li's full house won her a sizable pot.
Marcie (below) just sat down a moment ago, but she's already put her stack at risk against Joe Elpayaa. The board shows on the turn, and there's just over 12,000 in the pot. Marcie checks first to act, and Elpayaa bets 4,500. Marcie check-raises all in for about 17,500, though, and Elpayaa eventually conceded the pot after several minutes in the tank.
