Kevin Saul Can't Talk To Jake Baumgartner
On the turn with the board reading , Jake Baumgartner bets 10,200 from the big blind and Kevin Saul calls from the cutoff. There is about 45,000 in the pot heading to the river card.
Baumgartner checks and Saul bets 25,000, which sends Baumgartner into the tank for a couple minutes.
"You got four-five?" asks Saul.
The dealer intervenes and warns Saul that he isn't allowed to talk about the contents of a hand.
"But he talks all the time," says Saul while pointing to tablemate Mark Kroon.
Some time goes by before Saul begins to talk again.
"[If] You show, I show," says Saul to Baumgartner.
This time the dealer intervenes and says that he isn't allowed to influence action with his table talk, especially since he's not all in.
"Can I change my bet?" jokes Saul with the dealer. "I just want to be able to talk and be like my pops."
"Keep me out of this," says Kroon. "I don't want to be in this."
Baumgartner eventually announces a fold and the dealer grabs his hand and puts it in the muck. After a little nudging from the table, Saul shows the as he mucks his hand.
"Set of fours is good," says Kroon.
"Maybe I got saved," says Baumgartner.
Saul doesn't even give a hint to what his other card could be and he takes the pot.
