About midway through Level 17, the field has been reduced to 27 players, and Event #11 is now in the money. Everyone left is guaranteed to earn at least $435.
One of those who's most excited to clear the bubble is Art Harb (pictured), the current leader in the race for Casino Champion here at Horseshoe Hammond. Although he's desperately short on chips, Harb has just snuck into the money, padding his running tally of 67.5 by at least 2.5 more points. He only needs to fade three more events worth of points chasers to lock up the title, but a lot can change in the series' final 24 hours.
Blinds are 2,500/5,000 with a 500 ante in the current level, putting the average stack at 20 big blinds.
