Final 13 Players Return at Noon
Josh Turner Leads Heading into Day 3
Welcome to the third and final day of the Circuit Main Event at Harrah's Cherokee!
Today we'll see the first Main Event winner of the new season crowned, and 13 players are still in contention. They're led by four-time Circuit ring winner Josh Turner, who bagged up 2,080,000 in chips at the end of Day 2. Turner is fresh off a third-place finish in the Global Casino Championship, and is looking for his second six-figure score in less than a week.
Full chip counts are available here.
The tournament will resume at Level 26, with blinds at 15,000/30,000 and a 5,000 ante.
Each of the returning players is guaranteed a payout of at least $14,894, but they're all eyeing the first place prize of more than $240,000.
The WSOP Live Updates team will be on hand all day until a winner has been determined. Check back here often for updates from the tournament floor as we crown the next WSOP Circuit Main Event champion.
