Table 2: Mike Shin Eliminated in 12th Place ($427,930)

Mike Shin

Hand 35:

Vojtech Ruzicka raises to 800,000 from the cutoff and Mike Shin calls from the small blind. Qui Nguyen is in the big blind and he three-bets to 2,700,000. Ruzicka calls only to have Shin four-bet shove for 14,100,000.

Nguyen goes into the tank for about three minutes while some of the other players in the field head to break, then and cuts out enough chips to call. He eventually puts the chips back into his stack, takes another peek at his cards, and then caps them again.

Another moment passes before Nguyen once again cuts out enough chips to call. He slides them forward and Ruzicka instantly folds his hand.

The board runs out      , and Nguyen finishes the hand with a winning set of queen. Shin hits the rail and only 11 players remain.

Qui Nguyen - 68,575,000 (171 bb)
Mike Shin - Eliminated in 12th place ($427,930)
