16 Return for Day 3 of Event 32

Matt Glantz Leads the Pack Going Into Day Three

Sixteen players return for what is scheduled to be the last day of play in this year's Event 32, $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo. The cards will be in the air at 2:00 p.m. local time. The field is led by Matt Glantz (1,066,000) but two-time 2016 WSOP bracelet winner Jason Mercier looms not to far back. Grzegorz Trelski (945,000) is behind Glantz in second place, while defending champion Daniel Alaei (828,000) is third in chips.

The tournament started with 163 players and the final 16 will play to a champion today. Everyone who remains is guaranteed a payout of $17,332, with first place paying $407,194, plus the coveted gold bracelet.

The players will vie through ten one-hour levels, with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a one-hour dinner break after six levels today. We are scheduled to play down to a winner but if that is not possible then the players can opt to play an extra one level if they are heads up. If heads-up hasn't been reached by the end of today's ten levels, then play will conclude on a possible Day 4.
