Now Three-Time Gold Ring Winner, Woody Moore, Take His Seat
Charles "Woody" Moore (pictured) has just taken his seat in the Main Event. He is fresh off of a victory in Event #8 - $580 No-Limit Hold'em where he won his third career WSOP Circuit gold ring and $28,252. He ended up facing Alex Masek heads up for the gold ring. Masek was playing for a record extending ninth gold ring, but was denied by Moore after a hard fought heads up battle. More on Moore's victory can be found on WSOP.com.
Masek has yet to be seen in the field, but is expected to play. Third place finisher, Ray Marchi, has taken his seat as well. He is looking to cash in the Harveys Lake Tahoe Main Event for the second consecutive year. He finished 25th last year.
