Welcome to Day 1B of the Main Event at Harvey's Lake Tahoe
- Two-time gold bracelet winner, Howard "Tahoe" Andrew, takes his shot in the Main Event today.
Yesterday, Day 1A drew 186 entries. Only 37 players bagged up at the end of the night. They're led by Greg Guth, who will return on Day 2 with 340,500. He's followed by Ellen Lambeth (269,000) and Patrick Rhamey (248,000). Full chip counts from Day 1A are available here.
Here's the key info for this tournament:
-Flight A begins Friday at 11 a.m., Flight B Saturday at 11 a.m.
-Player start with 20,000 chips
-Blinds begin at 25/50
-Day 1 concludes after Level 15 (~10:45 p.m.)
-There is a one hour dinner break after Level 9 (~5:30 p.m.)
-Registration remains open until the start of Level 13 (~8:45 p.m.)
-Levels 1-15 are 40 minutes long, all remaining levels are 60 minutes long
-Advancing players return for Day 2 Sunday at noon
-Players are allowed two entries per flight for a maximum of four entries
-Winner receives automatic seat into the WSOP Global Casino Championship
