A Trio Battles for Title in Mixed Event #5

Only three of the six finalists remain

The €2,200 Mixed Event (8-game) of the World Series of Poker Europe at the Spielbank Berlin saw 24 players returning for Day 2, and once the final table of the last six was reached, the remaining hopefuls agreed to continue playing. Once the last three were reached at the start of Level 20, however, Alex Komaromi, Scott Clements and Noah Bronstein agreed to bag up for the night and return at 1:00 p.m. local time to determine a winner.

The trio has already €29,200 locked up for their efforts, but all eyes are set on the first-place payout of €65,740, and even more importantly, the gold bracelet. Komaromi leads with 549,000 chips. The Uruguayan has one prior WSOP cash to his name, a 141st-place finish in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event in 2012.

Scott Clements (387,000) is second in chips with 43 WSOP cashes, more than $2.8 million in WSOP earnings and two bracelets to his name. Last but not least, Noah Bronstein (194,500) has 23 WSOP cashes for a total of $386,272 in earnings.

Komaromi has around half of the chips in play, and he is trying to become the first player from Uruguay to win a WSOP bracelet. Action will resume with 55 minutes left in Level 20. Two hands of Pot-Limit Omaha were played and the big bet games have so far had the most significant impact on the outcome.

Seat assignments:

Seat 1: Alex Komaromi (Uguruay) - 549,000
Seat 2: Noah Bronstein (USA) - 194,500
Seat 6: Scott Clements (USA) - 387,000
