The third golden bracelet will be awarded today at the first World Series of Poker Europe on German soil a,nd several top pros have made it to the final table of the €3,250 Eight-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha (Event #3) at the Spielbank Berlin. Mikkel Plum is leading the field with 482,000 in chips followed by UK's Richard Gryko (444,500). Plum sky-rocketed into the lead after eliminating Barny Boatman in a massive pot.
Another Brit takes the third spot on the overnight podium. Roberto Romanello has 320,500 in chips, while plenty of other highly talented pros also made it to the final. 2014 WSOP APAC High Roller champion Mike Leah (315,000), Lawrence Lazar (289,000), Ismael Bojang (232,000), Benjamin Pollak (195,000) and four-time bracelet winner Max Pescatori (142,500) complete a star-studded field.
All eight finalists are guaranteed at least €13,445 for their efforts. The WSOP gold bracelet as well as €126,345 are up for grabs to the winner. Pescatori won two bracelets this summer and is hunting important Player-of-the-Year points. The Italian can move into fifth place in POY rankings if he wins today. Bojang can move up all the way to fourth in the POY ranking. He as well as Leah also played the Monster Stack last night and bagged up chips there as well.
The action resumes in half an hour from now at 12 p.m. local time with 35:05 minutes left in level 18 at blinds 3,000/6,000.
