Casino Championship Standings
The series is winding down and it is a tight race at the top of the Casino Championship standings. The winner of the Casino Championship will earn a free entry in the WSOP Global Casino Championship. A strong finish in the Main Event can make the difference between winning and losing.
Here is a look at the top of the standings through the first seven events:
1st: Joseph Mattingly - 77.5 points
2nd: Robert Cheung - 75 points
3rd: Charlie Dawson - 57.5 points
4th: Cody Pack - 52.5 points
5th: Frank Covich - 50 points
6th: Connor Graham - 50 points
7th: Clayton Jiang - 50 points
8th: Michael Bailey - 50 points
9th: Frank Schinco - 47.5 points
10th: Chuck Newman - 42.5 points
Event #8 and Event #9 will finish today and that will shake up the standings a little bit.
Bernard Lee has a shot to take the lead in the Casino Championship today. He is currently at the final table in Event #8 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em. Lee needs a first place finish to overtake Joseph Mattingly for the Casino Championship lead.
