Ring Day at Horseshoe Baltimore, Chris Csik Eyes Historic Victory

It's the final day of play here at the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, Md. The 458-entry field is down to the final 11 with none other than defending champion Chris Csik leading the way. Csik's 1,760,000-chip stack puts him comfortably ahead of second place John Gorsuch (1,235,000), Russ Head (575,000) and DJ MacKinnon (435,000). Were Csik to parlay his impressive lead into a gold-ring victory, he'd become only the second player in Circuit history to successfully defend a Main Event title (joining Blair Hinkle who accomplished the feat in 2013 and 2014 at Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa).

Here's a complete look at the stacks heading to today's Day 3:

  1. Chris Csik - 1,760,000
  2. John Gorsuch - 1,235,000
  3. Peter Lee - 1,155,000
  4. Tommy Vu - 1,155,000
  5. Sandeep Patel - 1,070,000
  6. Brian Walters - 845,000
  7. Ting Xiao - 580,000
  8. Russ Head - 575,000
  9. DJ MacKinnon - 435,000
  10. Cullen Hofmann - 205,000
  11. John Kostelac - 140,000

Play resumes at 2 p.m. ET with blinds of 15,000/30,000 and a 5,000 ante. Each of the 11 remaining players has locked up $11,054 with the tournament's eventual champion taking home $147,699, a berth in the Global Casino Championship and, of course, a Circuit gold ring.

Live updates will be available throughout the tournament's conclusion right here on WSOP.com.
