After the river on a jack-high board, Steve Gee moved all-in for 11.35 million with pocket 8's. Russell Thomas tanked for five minutes before making the call and turning over pocket queens, making Gee the first casualty of the night. It was a disappointing result for Gee, who takes home $754,798.
