Shannon Elizabeth Actress and poker player Shannon Elizabeth has taken her seat on Day 1D of the 2011 WSOP Main Event. The Pros Come Out on Day 1D The largest starting field of the 2011 Main Event has top-name pros sitting everywhere in the Amazon and Pavilion Rooms, including the lovely Liv Boeree. World Champion While Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics was raking in a pot, we were able to get a good look at his NBA World Championship Ring. The Moneymaker Effect The man most responsible for the poker boom, 2003 Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker, has been eliminated on Day 1C of the 2011 Main Event. A Calmer, Gentler Hellmuth There are three things you can almost always count on about Phil Hellmuth: 1) He wears a lot of black. 2) He always shows up late to the Main Event. 3) He likes to make an entrance. This year was no exception. However, his Main Event entrance was very low key compared to earlier years. He came to the Main Stage as an ESPN Commentator before taking his seat next to Mark Newhouse at the secondary feature table. Funny Guy Brad Garrett joins his friend Ray Romano in today's WSOP Main Event Day 1C field. He already seems to be having a good time with his table mates. The Truth Is Back Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics is back at the Rio today and playing on Day 1C of the 2011 Main Event.
