Dominated On the final hand of the Event #21 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em tournament, Jamie Armstrong (left) picked up a strong heads-up holding--pocket nines. Unfortunately for Armstrong, Michael Gadny's (right) holdings were just a hair stronger. Gadny's pocket tens held against the nines to give the Belgian player the bracelet. Fighting Through Despite having a severe case of food poisoning, Mike Matusow has been battling all day and now sits behind an above average stack late on Day 2 of the $5,000 Omaha Hi/Lo Split event. Somer of Jason Jason Somerville was all smiles during Day 2 of the $3,000 NLHE Six-Max event. Somerville would make the money but be eliminated late in the day. He then joined David Tuchman doing commentary on the live stream of the $1,000 NLHE final table. An Uphill Battle McLean Karr tosses his hand to the muck against recent bracelet winner Matt Matros. The two are heads-up in their $1,500 Limit Hold 'em Shootout table with Matros holding a substantial chip advantage. Upward Facing Underdog? Eric Davis takes a moment to stretch before the start of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold 'em final table. Davis comes into the final table fourth in chips while Jamie Armstrong and Noah Vaillancourt hold nearly half of the chips in play. Like Father, Like Son Fresh off an eigth place finish in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Event #19, Barry Shulman watches as his son, Jeff Shulman, plays his way to a third place finish in the $5,000 Limit Hold'em Championship. The Shulmans were the talk of the Rio as the father and son duo made final table appearances at the same time on Monday. The King of Limit Benjamin Scholl shows off his new WSOP Gold Bracelet just after winning the $5,000 Limit Hold 'em event for $206,760. Chipping Up Eric "Basebaldy" Baldwin has been consistently chipping up on Day 2 of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold 'em event. Baldwin now sits on a chip leading stack with less than 40 players remaining. The Goldkind Bracelet Cliff Goldkind and his friends pose for the cameras after Goldkind takes down the $1,500 No-Limit event along with $559,514. Not Just a Circuit Grinder Huy Nguyen, who holds three WSOP Circuit rings and qualified for the 2012 National Championship via points, is now among the chip leaders late on Day 2 of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold 'em event.
