Attendance Soars in Seniors Event The official numbers are in and the 2012 WSOP Seniors Event is the largest single starting day tournament in poker history. The top finisher in the 4,128-person field will have his/her name engraved on the Golden Eagle trophy in addition to receiving the gold bracelet and more than $600,000. Gone Fishing Darryll Fish is making his presence felt in the $2,500 NLHE 4-Max event as one of the top chip stacks. Players are now in the money and Fish is looking for his 15th career WSOP cash and his first Gold Bracelet. Fourth in the Four The 2006 WSOP Player of the Year Jeff Madsen is off to a great start at the 2012 WSOP. He is currently in the money in the $2,500 NLHE 4-Max event, marking his fourth cash of the series. Full House There are 478 tables at these year's WSOP and nearly all of them are in use to accommodate the record-setting field in the $1,000 Seniors Event. The Stare Down Brett Richey sparred heads-up against Gabe Scott at the $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha final table. It was Richey's unlucky 13th career WSOP cash, as he came up short of the bracelet in second place. Richey previously got second to Roland de Wolfe in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low event back in 2009. Proud Parent Joe Cassidy takes a moment to celebrate his first WSOP Gold Bracelet with his father, Al, just after winning the $5,000 Omaha Hi/Lo Split event.
