Early Action

Michael Mizrachi (left) throws his arms in the air as he eliminates both Bill Chen and Bruno Fitoussi on only the second hand of play at the $50,000 Poker Players Championship final table.

Man's Best Friend

While Joey Weissman is heads-up for the $2,500 No-Limit Hold 'em Gold Bracelet, his dog Revis patiently waits for him just off the stage.

This Rail has Gone to the Dogs

At the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em final table, Joey Weissman has a large group of friends on hand to rail him. One of those fans is Revis the service dog, who has taken a seat on the front row to watch the action.

Kara On the Rail

Kara Scott, who handles sideline reporting for ESPN at the WSOP, poses on the rail of the $2,500 No-Limit Hold 'em event. Scott is on site preparing for the ESPN coverage of both the One Drop and Main Event.

New School, Old School

The $50,000 Poker Players Championship is such a unique and prestigious event, as it pits old and new school poker pros against one other in a wide rotation of games. On Day 4, five-time gold bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro and WSOP Rookie Viktor Blom (aka Isildur1) have been clashing in several pots.

The Good Kind of Rebuilding

Joey Weissman starts to rebuild his massive chip stack before the start of the final table in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold 'em event. Weissman currently holds over five million of the just over 12 million chips in play with ten players remaining.

A Mountain of Chips

Joey Weissman holds a mountain of chips in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold 'em. Weissman holds the chip lead as they approach the final table.

What is Missing?

At first glance, this might look like an ordinary shot of a table before the flop. But look closer, something is missing. It's the blinds as this shot was captured at today's $1,500 Ante Only No-Limit event. The first-ever event of its kind at the WSOP has players ante every hand, but post no blinds. Instead, the player to the left of the button starts off the action by either bringing in or folding.

Holding on for Dear Life

Luke Schwartz holds on to tablemate Viktor Blom while Schwartz was all-in on Day 4 of the $50,000 as he awaits his fate in a Pot Limit Omaha all-in. Schwartz prevailed to double up to over a million and, despite the choke hold from his friend, Blom is surviving as well as the money bubble approaches.

Italian Stallion

Rocco Palumbo is looking to pick up Italy's 11th gold bracelet today in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event. The first Italian to win a WSOP evetn was Valter Farina back in 1995. Since then, Jeff Lisandro has won five bracelets for the country, Max Pescatori won two, Dario Alioto picked one up at the inaugural WSOP Europe in 2007, and Dario Minieri last won gold for Italy in 2008.
